CASE, the Center for Applied Statistics and Evaluation, is located at Truman State University. We provide statistical consulting services to campus groups and projects, the Kirksville community, and the greater Northeast Missouri area. CASE consists of a director, an associate director, faculty consultants, and student consultants. Undergraduate students with statistical background will be involved with the consulting under the guidance of faculty consultants.

CASE will:

• Provide high-quality statistical support for a variety of statistically-driven projects on and off-campus. Such project clients will include students and faculty engaged in research at Truman and ATSU, local non-profit and government entities, and local and regional for-profit companies who lack access to traditional consulting services.

• Enhance the learning experience for students interested in statistics by providing opportunities to be involved with the work of the center, including new courses in statistical consulting and other improvements to the statistics program.

• Create a resource center for statistically-driven courses across campus, so that students and faculty may access content-area specialists who can visit classes and labs to assist with statistical needs in the classroom.

• Enrich the statistics program at Truman by fostering a learning community that will increase opportunities for students and faculty within the program and spread awareness of the importance and career opportunities in statistics to those currently outside of the program.
