Adair County Community Survey

The Center for Applied Statistics and Evaluation, affiliated with Truman State University, is conducting a survey aimed to assess the needs of Kirksville and the surrounding area related to a community center. Opinions of Adair County residents will be used to determine what types of facilities may be lacking in the area; however, there is no current plan to build a center. The aim of the survey is to gather information only, which will be used in future planning.

You must be 18 years of age or older to complete this survey. Benefits to taking this survey include sharing your input with the City of Kirksville concerning building a community center. Risks are minimal and researchers do not feel they are greater than risks of everyday life. Your participation is completely voluntary, and involves spending five to ten minutes to complete this survey. All of your responses will be kept completely confidential, because your identity will in no way be linked to your responses. General reports of our findings will be made available to the City of Kirksville. Before you submit your final responses, you can stop or request that your data not be included in our analysis. Completion of the survey is considered your consent to participate. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Audra Schickler (ams1427@truman.edu or 314/803/5808) or Dr. Scott Alberts (salberts@truman.edu or 660/785/7649).
